You find “traditional massage” on a KL outcall menu, but the description says little about the session. Before choosing it, ask the provider to name the practice and explain what happens during the appointment.
Start with the service name
Ask whether the listing refers to a specific tradition or is the provider’s name for a package. Follow with a plain question: “What will the therapist do during this session?” A useful answer should describe the proposed work rather than repeat the marketing name.
Do not assume that two providers using the word “traditional” offer the same appointment. Compare the actual components if you are deciding between them.
Separate the massage from the extras
Ask whether oils, heated items, herbal preparations or other components are proposed. These are examples of details to clarify, not a claim that a traditional session always includes them.
For anything you have not agreed to, ask what it involves and whether you can leave it out. Establish who supplies the materials and whether a change affects the service or price before the therapist travels.
Match the therapist to the service
